All in one (week)

Had a very full week. And it was a great one, which involved the homies and the colleagues. The run-down:

1) Balik kampung (ho ho ho balik kampung....)
Left Singapore about 8pm, to meet Busu and the family at Gelang Patah. My first trip into that part myself, I mean, not tail-gating anyone... Had dinner there afterwhich we headed to Nek Lang's place in Rembau, N.Sembilan. Well, it was an estimated 3hrs drive, and we forgot to track the distance. But so far, we were going on an average speed of 120km/h because of my Busu's advice to to hubby not to go so fast. But driving really make one hungry man. Luckily I had the brother to keep me accompany and awake throughout, chatting and singing along to whatever interesting songs the radio played us. Well, it helps that I had him to change the channel whenever the song got too draggy and lullaby-ish. The back passengers were all asleep throughout, especially the sister.

We reached about 12-ish. The first thing I smelt when we entered Nek Lang's house was... DURIAN!! Yikes, I don't fancy durians, and I warned my mum not to bring any home. Had dinner and the fruit fest started, with durians, and mangosteens and what mango-like fruit, which I won't attempt to spell for fear of making a fool of the word.
The toilet was at the back of the house and I had to ask my bro to accompany me. Had to equip myself with a torchlight as there was no lighting in there. I think I am semi-claustrophobic. Wanted to get out of the toilet as soon as possible and I felt entrapped in there. Imagine the normal cubicle in public toilet only without that extra space in front of you, where the door swings into, and DARK. (Here's the toilet in the day)
Slept like a log (my bro and uncle slept outside), it was cooling there at night unlike at home where it can get very humid. I may sleep like a log and at home, would never wake up to my alarms, but the roosters were irritating enough to wake me up (should get many of those for my wake-up call). They took turns lah, and were very loud. Had prata for breakfast, and waited for our dear Pak Itam to arrive.

To the wedding we headed, and the girls wouldn't eat because there were lalats (flies). City-kids, what do you expect... Ohhh, and that Aziz Singa actor in Sembilu was there, took secret shot of him, not that I fancy him but it is kinda cool to have an actor relative.
The usual catching-up with relatives started among the aunties. If Cik Idah was there, we'd probably had stayed till evening. I was busy taking photos, even though I didn't know the people. Imagine, I actually took the family photo of the bride! Haha... Went back to Nek Lang's house after the wedding at her request, to collect fruits. Again, I emphasized "NO DURIANS". There my mum was, busy picking mangosteens in her jemputan-wear while the rest of us actually sat under the rambutan trees, plucking rambutans straight from the trees, while chit-chatting. How nice...

At the end of the day, when we were about to leave, Nek Lang passed us a bag of durians, and I couldn't resist. I do have a soft spot for neneks, couldn't say no to them, sigh... So now the back of the car smelt like durians despite attempts to get rid of it. Luckily the smell in the cabin had cleared of thanks to the air freshner and carpet cleaner and GG's smoking in it. I dun care, as long as the smell disappear. I might just lock him up in the boot to smoke and get rid of the durian smell there.

And I hit 162km/h already!! Haah, Cik Khidir went ahead despite Busu's nagging. But it was only for a short while. But journey home was definitely faster coz on average we went at 140+km/h.

2) Wedding in JB
Attended another wedding in JB on Sunday with GG, and friends. I was still tired from the kampung trip so halfway through, I was almost dozing off. I actually slept thru the journey back, until GG woke me up at the customs.

3) Agency Chalet in Aloha Loyang
Had our own agency meeting and our quarterly review session. Wii and BBQ to go along with it. Wii was fun! It's something like Xbox but you use your body movement or more like arm movements to play. Like boxing, you need to really box. Hahah... Might just upload the video of me plaing the boxing game with my boss. I was practically jumping and dancing ah. Violent! Now my arms are actually aching from that one match.
