Iftar with the AMPYC ppl...

Sat evening was spent with my group of AMPYC frens. The club's no more, but at least some of the people are... Had tulang at Beach Rd. Man, those people came early to chop seats. Me and Sally came at like 6.10 and the place was already crowded but luckily there was 2 empty tables. And I thought we were early... In the end, one of the table had to be switched to accomodate 2 extra people. Well, all 12 of us got seats in the end.

After maghrib, we took a vote on where to head for. Arab Street it was, since I wanted to see the lighting and not many of them wanna karaoke. Damn. So we lepaked at Kg Glam Cafe till like 12plus. I sang along to all the raya songs played by the CD shop across the street, at least that got rid of my "gian-ness" for a while. Ohh, Fazrin got interviewed by the media on why we chose to go there instead of Geylang, and so on... and he LIED! We did not avoid Geylang coz of the crowd, we VOTED for Arab St!!! Yah but of coz the education system has taught him to give politically correct answers. I think I downed like 3 teh tarik, couldn't sleep till sahur when I got home. I think I only slept at 7 and had to wake up at 10plus for tuition.

Anyway, kinda miss those times when we used to organise hari raya gathering, had iftars at Tembusu, go jalan raya with the rest of them, rounded the whole of Geylang like dunno how many times... Those were the days.
