Brutal honesty - is it justified or even necessary

Met a very good fren and got to that topic during our conversation... was about to write about it till my mind got swayed...

Here it is to you, shall not mention names, but I am sure you will get that it's you...

We may be two very different persons, but there are similarities in us, those who know us well will know.
Our nature to wanna please people, to keep to our promises and,
our introvertedness with regards to our feelings.
I know family is very important to you,
and as much as I probably don't portray it, it is to me too.
You know your roles, your responsibilities,
and I know that you set yourself out to carry them out.
Not that I don't, but I do things in a different way.
You are the light of the family for various reasons,
without which it would be very dull and quiet.
Me, I do care, though I know I act like I don't... I ask myself why,
but I just can't give the answer.

As for life itself, there will be questions that you somtimes ask yourslf,
decisions you have to make and though some decisions are not easy to make,
or to stick to, I am sure you will know what to do.. I have faith in you..
Certain decisions involve others, certain decisions only pertain to yourself.
Weigh your decisions and options and reason things out.
I can see that you are already doing it.
And if people really know you, they would understand and accept the decisions you made.
Most importantly, know what you want, maybe not at this point of time
but what you want for yourslf in the long run.
Ok, maybe not easy cause, even for me I still don't know exactly what I want,
but at least I know what I don't want and that is a start.
Don't give in just bcause you think you owe others.
At the same time, if something you know is worth pursuing, don't let it go,
but only if you know it's worth it. Dont let guilt guide you.

True, it is not easy, true there may be some points where you will falter,
but it is only human to err.
Remember the saying to err is human and to forgive is divine.

Whatever it is, know that there is someone here who is very proud of you.
