Weekend getaway

I juz got back from Batam with some of my frens, 7 of us including the not-so-easy-to-get-to-follow Azah *wink*. Stayed in a suite lah in Holiday Inn, so gerek rite... We just went for the weekend, left on Saturday morning and got back yesterday afternoon. And guess what, for those who know me, I am seldom late (even if I am, it won't be that late) but I woke up at 8.30am (which is the time that I was supposed to meet at Harbourfront!) and went like "Oh shit, why so bright?!" Luckily, there was still time to rush and get there. I was still groggy from the shocking morning start, that I actually kissed Anisa's hand when I salamed her (fyi: we usually kissed the hands of our elders when we shake their hands)... AHAHA! Joke siah. And everyone was like laughing at me. Keselengean yang nyata terserlah. Lucky Anisa is still older than me. And I forgot my facewash and toothbrush! *Still feeling stupid*

Anyway, it was nice to get away for the weekend, away from the hectic life in Singapore. And now my arms are aching cos I went swimming. There was an indoor pool which was not so indoor, more like semi-indoor but it was secluded and no one swam there but us. So okaylah, not so embarassing that we were TRYING to swim. But I managed, not that well, but still managed. Now my ear also a bit blocked, got water. But must go swimming more la, wanna learn, good work-out for the body. But I think it is more tiring to learn to swim than to actually swim.

And we ate at Golden Prawn, it was the same place as the other time me and my relatives went when we came down Batam to see2 my uncle's hse. Must really be famous there cos the taxi driver was the one who suggested that place.

Other activities: karaoke, sleep, watch TV, breakfast buffet (not bad, i liked the waffles), take photos, finding fishball keropok for my mum...

Had a fun trip guys, looking forward to such trips again.
