Surprise!

Made a fren happy till she teared.. Well, that's just her.. or it's just us being soooo sweet, that she was touched. Azah, my dear fren celebrated her 23rd bday on 20th June (take notes people) and we gave her a surprise "party" last evening. At least this surprise succeeded (unlike the previous unsuccessful Zam's one) Think I am still quite full from last evening - mee goreng, ayam goreng, pizza, cake... there goes my health regime but it's nice to make someone happy.

Anyway, this did not just dawn upon me but majority of my frens are teachers... Last nite, there were 5 of them (already, and to-be) and I am like the only person NOT a teacher, not counting, OMG like many more who are also teachers. I can count the number that are not teachers. Gosh. I sort of felt out of place cos all of them were like talking about teacher-hood but no, I am not going into that field, at least not yet. Still, everytime I meet them (and we always meet together, the same few of us), I think I will feel out of place. Not that they do that on purpose, but yah I understand, that's the thing they have in common and that is the main thing in their life at this point of time. Envious, hmmm... not really, just out of place more likely. But I wish them all the succeess and may they really find true happiness and satisfaction in teaching. Anyway, at least I know who to find to ask regarding schools in the future. One more afterthought, teachers usually marry teachers (since the olden days la, from my grandma's stories about the people she knew)...
